Shanghai Artemon Hospital is the first foreign-funded research international hospital established by Yinshan Group and Artemed Medical Group in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone in China. It is a benchmark project of the Sino German Health Cooperation Action Plan and a pilot project supported by the governments of China and Germany.

Shanghai Atmon Hospital officially opened on September 26, 2019. The hospital features oncology, orthopedics, and hematology departments, with a total construction area of 56000 square meters and a total of 500 beds (200 in the first phase and 300 in the second phase). The hospital is equipped with complete medical equipment, including a Varian linear accelerator, 64 rows of 128 layer CT, 3.0T MRI, and a digital operating room. As a research-oriented international hospital, the hospital has gathered top clinical expert teams and research talents from both domestic and international sources, promoting collaborative development between medical education and research; Advocating a new model of integrating diagnosis and treatment with team healthcare, emphasizing clinical research and innovative transformation, and taking "patient needs first" as the fundamental foundation of hospital construction. Shanghai Atmeng Hospital collaborates with Tongji University School of Medicine, aiming to become its teaching hospital. The hospital has also established international remote diagnosis and treatment services with the University of California, San Francisco Medical Center (UCSF) and Artemed Hospital in Germany.

In June 2019, Hillhouse Capital became a joint shareholder.

On December 1, 2020, under the strong guidance and support of Shanghai Medical Insurance Bureau, Shanghai Health Commission and other departments, Shanghai Atmon Hospital officially passed the medical insurance acceptance and became a designated medical institution for basic medical insurance in Shanghai.
